Not as in Windows 2000. The CD is bootable. Or use a Windows 98/Me Startup
floppy with the file SMARTDRV.EXE copied to it (the file is in the \Win9x
directory of Windows 98/Me). Type SMARTDRV at the A:> then change to the
location of your XP CD and run WINNT.EXE from the i\386 directory.
